The Olde Oak Cottage is just minutes away from the beautiful Nueces River, 31 miles from Garner State Park, 45 minutes from Los Maples State Park, 18 miles from Chalk Bluff Park, 3 miles to the Cooksey County Park and dam, 2.5 hours from San Antonio. Other area attractions are Garner Museum in Uvalde, TX., The Devil’s Sink Hole at Rocksprings with over four million Mexican free tail bats, Alamo Village in Bracketville, TX. Also there is antique shopping nearby. Come and enjoy tubing on the Nueces and Frio Rivers.

Our Bed and Bath offers an enriched family experience. Come stay in this quaint 1932 home that has been remodeled in a very unique blend of Victorian/Country décor with rustic tin and old barn wood accents. The living room floor was restored to its original glory; others are painted in different colors. Tiny Christmas lights run throughout the house for glamour. With hospitality at its best, this is a quiet little place you’ll love to stay. We’re sure you will love it and will want to come back.

“Rags to Riches Room”
This room sleeps two. It has a new queen size. The cozy atmosphere in this room makes you want to stay in bed and sleep all day. Enjoy a roaring fire in the native rock fire place built in 1932 while relaxing in the beautiful double bed. It is topped by a lace canopy finishing the romantic setting. This room is adjoined by a beautiful bathroom complete with a unique shower, antique dresser and sink and furnished with towels and wash cloths. A clothes rack completes the amenities.

“The Room with a View”
This room sleeps five. It has two double beds and one twin size bed. This room has large windows, two handmade double doors that open onto a covered deck. The large backyard is covered by large oak trees and plants. Table and chairs and a barbeque pit completes the picture. The name of this room speaks for itself. The attached bathroom to this room has an old antique tub with shower enclosed with old barn wood. Towels and wash cloths and clothes rack also are included in this beautiful room.

	The living room is a wonderful place for relaxing, reading, listening to music or just watching television with DirectTV satellite. It has a sofa sleeper that accommodates two people along with comfortable chairs, beautiful lamps, tables, pictures, games and VCR with movies.
	The kitchen is fully furnished the dishes, pots and pans, silver wear, cooking utensils, a crock pot, coffee pot, a fry daddy, microwave, stove and refrigerator. It is uniquely designed with wallpaper and border and many fun extras. Off the kitchen is a screened-in porch with table and chairs which is designated the smoking parlor or just for relaxing and enjoying good clean air and the view. SMOKING IS PROHIBITED INSIDE THE HOUSE.
	This beautiful cottage includes ceiling fans, three air conditioners and heating. Two televisions with DirectTV satellite, movies, games, ironing board and iron, outside barbeque pit and two extra cots for sleeping. Self-served Bath is included.

Rates:

$120.00 for 1 - 4 persons, $10.00 for each additional person's regardless of their age.

A $50.00 deposit for each day is required when making reservations. Also a two weeks cancellation notice is required prior to the arrival date in order for deposit to be refunded. Sorry, we do not accept credit cards. We only accept cashiers checks, money orders or cash only please.

Small pets are welcome. We have accommodations for larger pets in an outdoor 10' X 10' kennel in the backyard. A $25.00 non-refundable deposit is required for each pet.

This entire cottage is yours for the above fees. We do not rent rooms separately.
