Dolores
Vernor, a long-time fashion designer, has
worked with Mohair exclusively since she moved to the United States twelve years
ago. She considers Mohair to be a "hidden treasure" of Texas and feels
a strong responsibility to introduce the public to Mohair's many attributes.
Vernor has designed jackets for many dignitaries including First Lady Hillary Clinton, U.S. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchinson, and former Texas Governor Ann Richards.
This hard working lady who opened her shop in Camp Wood in 1990 also has a C.P.A. degree from Tampico, Mexico, and has hosted her own television show featuring pattern design.
